Jim, Dave and I did some crappie fishing this past weekend. It was terrible. The following is a report from an avid reader of the UBO reports. Thanks Paul for the contribution. Maybe we'll get more readers to do the same.

I agree with your crappie summary. We searched for them but couldn'tcoax them into biting. Tried tube jigs, minnows, and curly-tailedgrubs. Bass on the other hand, we're biting in the late afternoon to early evening. We caught them on jig/craw combos, black spinnerbaits,Rebel Wee Craw crankbaits, and jig/pig. Caught most of them in the creek arms in 6-8 feet of water. I nailed a 5 pound largemouth on ajig/craw. Best fishing was Sunday afternoon/evening. I haven'tdownloaded any photos yet, but I'll send you a copy tomorrow.
We caught channel cats from 10pm-2am off the main lake points onnightcrawlers dipped in Sony's Stink Bait.

Thanks again and .... Fish on!
